These are places Lorraine & I have had the pleasure of staying for either short breaks or a few weeks holiday.
FieldView in Norfolk - ideal for short or long
breaks with facilities for the budding Astronomer/Non astronomer. The sky
is so dark from here you can almost touch the stars!
Westwood Lodge, Ilkley, Yorkshire - Relations of
ours own this wonderful B&B and Holiday centre which, although not an
astronomy centre, can give access to Ilkley Moor where the night skies are
quite dark & clear.
COAA (Centre for Observational Astronomy in the
Algarve) - where Lorraine & Paul like to spend their foreign holidays
when funds allow :-) . Notable not just for the Astronomy but for its Gastronomy
as well!
