LAWSON

This lineage is from my great-grandmother on my mother's side of the family. Through research we have shown that my great-great-grandfather’s family were from Sheffield, Yorkshire; and were well respected there, they lived very near the Cathedral, as he worked for the mayor as his accountant. The house that they lived in has now been knocked through and is a pub. The family then moved to Salford, Manchester. The question we have is how Henry met his wife Mary Jane BABINGTON, as she was from Lincolnshire. After marriage Harry and Mary Jane moved around Sheffield, before settling down in Aston, Birmingham. Their son Harry married Rose PENNYFATHER who was from Middlesex, the reason for mentioning them here, is that my grandmother, Rose Helen Howden TALBOT, stayed with them during the First World War, and said how nice they were(!).
Pictures of them will be shown in the not too distant future!
